Day 334.  Canon EOS REBEL T1i | Exposure: 0.008 sec (1/125) | Aperture: f/6.3 | Focal Length: 200 mm

I wanted to take a photo of this crow perched on a branch that didn’t seem like it could hold it. As soon as I raised my camera it took flight and approached me through the fog.

After I pulled the photo off the camera, I realized it was perfect for today’s Daily Shoot assignment (show how you feel today). I feel very much like I’ve been in an auto-pilot, foggy state the past few days – fatigued by a hectic time at work, worried about my mother’s recent hospitalization, stressed over a real estate deal. Today though, I feel like I can fly out of the fog in search of a much steadier perch.
