Day 345. Canon EOS REBEL T1i | Exposure: 0.077 sec (1/13) | Aperture: f/7.1 | Focal Length: 96 mm
Today’s Daily Shoot assignment (to take a photograph of relaxation) came on the first real day off I’ve had in months – no work, no looking after mother, no errands, no ‘to do’ list!
I took this photo in a mirror I propped on my front porch as I headed out for a walk in the blowing snow. This was a tough shot to light properly. I decided not to fight the light but just go with it and play up the blown out areas. (The neat added benefit was that no skin softening was required
).
In order for me to relax I have to clear my head first. The time I spend each day with my camera does just that! I only wish I’d discovered this years ago!
