Day 309. Canon EOS REBEL T1i | Exposure: 1 | Aperture: f/13.0 | Focal Length: 134 mm
It didn’t last long and the snow didn’t stay, but at least we’ve got the first whiteout of the season under our belts. This is the view of the street and trees in my neighbour’s yard from my front porch this afternoon. If you don’t live in a snowbelt area it’s hard to explain a whiteout. I live on the shores of Georgian Bay. Not only do the winds whipping across the bay pick up moisture to dump on us, (in the form of snow), but they also pick up that snow and blow it at us from all directions – up, down and sideways!
